We are committed to working with you, your care provider and your insurance company to ensure a seamless transition from the hospital to your home, as well as your other special medical needs.

Our equipment and services include:

• Sleep apnea equipment setup and maintenance, including CPAPs and BiPAPs
• Home delivery in the Winneshiek County area
• Emergency on-call service
• Local billing through Winneshiek Medical Center - we accept Medicare, Medicaid and your private insurance provider
• The convenience of providing this service as an integrated part of your health care

Oxygen and Respiratory Care

Winneshiek Medical Center Home Medical Equipment offers the following services for patients needing oxygen:

• Oxygen concentrators
• Lightweight portable systems
• Home delivery
• Detailed instructions
• Expertise in billing to Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurances
• Emergency on-call service 7 days per week, 24 hours per day

Sleep Apnea

For patients with sleep apnea, we offer

• Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) and
• Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP) breathing equipment that helps maintain an open airway during sleep

In addition, we offer health care expertise and service on the use of these units through our respiratory services department.

Our service is accredited by the Joint Commission of Accredited Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO)
