Home Health Resources
Home health care can be provided to you in your own home following your surgical procedure – services are dependent on your unique situation. Home care visits may include nurses who will help you by offering education on, and monitoring of, your condition; home health aides who provide assistance with personal cares, such as bathing or hair washing, and a limited amount of housekeeping assistance; therapists to assist you with strengthening and enhancing the safety and accessibility of your home environment.
Winneshiek Medical Center Home Health is a Medicare certified agency. Therefore, Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance can be billed for these services. Referrals may be made by physicians, nurses, other health care providers, families, friends, clergy or patients themselves.
