Winneshiek Medical Center Nutrition Services offers the Mobile Meals program for patients in Decorah unable to provide meals for themselves. The program provides a noon meal consisting of an entrée, a starch, vegetable, dessert and bread at a cost of $4.50.
The meal for the patient and spouse (if requested) are delivered Monday through Friday, and most holidays. Community volunteers deliver meals to residents within Decorah city limits.
This program is designed for Decorah residents requiring general or modified diets, such as diabetic, low sodium (salt), etc. This short- or long-term option may be requested by the patient’s doctor after a hospital stay or by individuals themselves.

Heat & Eat
Heat & Eat entrées are packaged and frozen meals, available through Winneshiek Medical Center Nutrition Services Department at a cost of $4.50 each.
Each meal consists of an entrée, starch, vegetable, bread, dessert and milk. A three-day advanced notice is required and payment for the meal is due at the time of pick-up. Pick-ups are Monday through Friday (except holidays) from 9 am–4 pm. The container is microwavable and oven-safe.
