Patient Online Services is a free service that gives you the flexibility to access your health information and other resources on your time and between visits to Winneshiek Medical Center. With this interactive online tool, you can take a more active role in your care with easy, secure access to your health information and online communication with WMC staff. Common Questions about Patient Online Services
Is my information safe?
Yes. Patient Online Services passwords are encrypted and URLs cannot be copied and pasted. You and authorized family members are the only ones who can access your account. Also, a timeout feature protects your information if you leave the webpage open.
Where does my health information come from?
All of the information comes from your WMC Electronic Health Record. This ensures that you have access to the most accurate, up-to-date information possible.
Can I access my child’s medical record?
It’s simple to gain access to your child’s medical record. Just fill out a Proxy Access Form and mail the completed form to Winneshiek Medical Center HIM Department, 901 Montgomery St., Decorah, IA 52101, or fax it to 563-382-1506. You can also call us at 563-387-3100, and we will send you the form through the mail. If you would rather take care of this is person, please stop by Winneshiek Medical Center and we will be happy to assist you. Proxy access is available for children through age 12. Proxy access for children 13-17 years and older is not available. Please see page two of our Patient Online Services User Agreement for more details.
Can my family access my Patient Online Service account?
Yes, you can give family members or someone you trust access to your Patient Online Services account. This needs to be done in person at WMC and requires consent from you and your family member(s).

Can I view WMC’s Patient Online Services in Spanish?
Web browsers have Language settings which you can change to support Spanish.
Is support available?
Support is available through a “Contact Us” function in each section of Patient Online Services. You may also call 563-382-2911 between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday with any questions or concerns you have regarding Patient Online Services.
