WMC honors staff for professional achievement and years of service

Deb Tekippe of Same Day Services and Nursing Education was named a 2016 "Great Iowa Nurse" by the Iowa Hospital Association. Nearly 230 Winneshiek Medical Center staff and guests attended the annual Staff Appreciation Celebration, held on January 29, 2016 at Nob Hill.

At the Friday evening event, 62 staff members were honored for their commitment and dedication to Winneshiek Medical Center for five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five, thirty, thirty-five and forty years of service; a total of 855 years of service including members of the active medical staff. Lisa Radtke, chief administrative officer of Winneshiek Medical Center thanked staff for their extraordinary work over the past year and their deep commitment to serving others. She said, “[This evening] is a time of gratitude for you, our dedicated staff, and for those who support you so that you may serve.”

Ms. Radtke continued, “With each milestone you reach, whether it is publicly honored tonight, or a milestone in your own personal journey, we hope you experience the joy that is service.”
