Ossian Clinic Project

The WMC Ossian Clinic opened early March 2014 and provides full-time family medicine services for patients of all ages, such as well-child exams, athletic physicals, well-woman exams, care for chronic illness like diabetes, hypertension and lung disease, immunizations, wellness labs, strep tests and same day appointments for illness. The clinic also provides Occupational Health Services for area businesses, such as work injury management, DOT physicals and drug screens. Additionally, the new clinic offers rehabilitation services as well as community-based fitness classes – including weekly Pilates and Senior Circuit fitness classes – which have expanded to accommodate the growing interest in the community.

The Winneshiek Medical Center Ossian Clinic Steering Committee, in partnership with the Winneshiek Medical Center Foundation, worked to secure financial support for the new clinic.  The funds raised for the clinic supported the costs necessary to get the Winneshiek Medical Center Ossian Clinic up and running.
