What is a telehealth video visit?
A telehealth video visit is a scheduled appointment using the MyChart patient portal. This access to quality health care allows your Winneshiek Medical Center provider to interact and communicate with you by computer screen, smartphone or tablet.
What do I need to do to connect to my video visit?
To connect to your video visit, you must log into WMC MyChart account.
MyChart Video Visits Tips and Tricks
If you plan to use a smart phone or tablet for your video visit, please download the MyChart app (you can download it in your Apple Store or Google Play).
There are known technical issues using the MyChart website on a mobile device and/or tablet.
If using a Mobile Web Browser for your Video Visit you must allow MyChart Pop-Ups.
iPhone or iPad iOS:
- Open the Settings app in iOS and go to Safari browser
- Under General on right side, toggle the switch Block Pop-ups to the OFF position
Android phone or tablet:
- Open the Chrome app. To the right of the address bar, tap the 3 dots and the click Settings.
- Tap Site settings. Click Pop-ups and redirects. Make sure they are Allowed.
